It really was a last minute decision. Skip kept telling me I had to go, so I finally relented the last day to pay up for the last night dinner.

But sorry about that boss! BTW, I still have some stickers from last year @ Hallett, that I was taking with me! :wink:

Actually now that I think about it, I'm not going to the gap anymore. Boone is on my to do list. So i might be able to go to both fm summer camp and boone after that!

HellionMX5, never did get to take a Miata to Boone, as I mostly went there during skiing season. Besides, not too brag (that's new!), but I live in CO, where great Miata roads are "dime a dozen". If only I could get a beach up here...

I stayed at this house, thanks to Skip. I was just gonna camp out @ a State Park "Infantry style", that is with just a sleeping bag. But I learned a new term "Bear Alert". In any event, Skip, had arranged for me to stay with his friends. It was EPIC!

8635 Exomotive Exocet, first one to be built and designed in the U.S. It's close to 300 lbs lighter than the British version. It has the latest variant of the Hydra. It hit 340ish bhp, later at the dyno. Wet weight was for 1,500 lbs.

22 hrs.... that's further than boone! Roughly 1500 miles so 3K round trip... thinking next year or 2015 :D might go to Boone in 2014.

Lucky you. I'll quit one job to get paid to moderate. Any benefits? 50k a year sound about good. That way I can afford more miata related things, like going to fms summer camp!

The problem with our compensation package, is that management has a weak HR/Payroll team. I have yet to get my first month of pay, but his royal Phatness, keeps telling us that the $$ is coming...

That's all I took! I do have a few friends (Skip Cannon and Mark Booth, a moderator @ M.Net) that will hook me up with a bunch of pics. But they are both traveling, Skip is in the Canadians Rockies and Mark is visiting family in Nebraska and Pennsylvania.

Eagerly awaiting the friend hook-ups. I was at an FM Summer Camp more than 10 years ago and I met Turbodog (RIP), Bill, and Terri. They don't just run a good business that supports are little cars but they are good people. They've made a difference in this world by donating to a foundation that gives goats to needy families. I just don't think they could be much cooler in my book if they were super heros.

We need to get them on board here at MazdaRoadster.Net. The other sites have turned sour. This is the better place to be.
