Welp I picked up a new DD. 2013 Mazdaspeed3. It feels nice to have a Mazda again.

First thing I did was shave the dealer and speed emblems and pick up a JBR SRI.

I've heard the intakes on our cars really makes you able to hear the turbo spool and the by-pass-valve so I had to buy one. And damn the people were right. The turbo spool and the distinct PPPSSHHHhhhhhhh noise of the bpv you can hear now is intoxicating. As you know, you can't even hear anything on the stock set-up. Definitely worth it. Ricer for life....

I don't think you will be disappointed. Although it quickly made me realize I need to upgrade the rear motor mount as soon as possible because now I find myself stepping into it more often. I can feel the motor banging into the firewall. lol.

Dang! You hopped on that intake quick! Didn't Jamie just announce the white silicon a few days ago?
Be sure to get the TIP and boost tubes in white, too. That underhood rice is next on the list for my genjuan. :)

Car looks nice!! Definitely invest in an exhaust or some sort of resonator/cat delete, FP and Cobb AP. Just a bump up to a stage 1.5-2 tune makes these cars even more awesome. I love my Speed3.

Smart move. I've got the TWM full replacement short shift kit in mine and a JBR short shift plate. Shift lever moves less than the Miatas.
