I am hoping someone here has enough electrical skill and knowledge to help me with a small project I have in mind. I want to add one of these to my project:

but I want the button to be wireless. There used to be a company that made this exact product but they are no longer around, so i have to come up with something myself. I figured I could use a 12volt rf transmitter and receiver and it should work just fine. for the transmitter on the wheel itself, i'd prefer to not use batteries, but instead run off the power and ground from the horn button if possible and the receiver could be wired to a 12 volt source under the dash.
My problem is i'm not skilled enough with electrical stuff to make this work, so i need some help.
anyone think they can help with this project?
and PS, no its not for nitrous, lol.
