Thanks guys, I thought there some lowrider inspired JDM wheels but if they are simply daytons...I guess finding a set should be pretty easy. I like the look of em...not a typical wheel choice for a Miata but I'm a fan.

yeah, i've rocked my fair share of stick-out wire wheels... the ones in this picture are bolt-on (awesome!) as opposed to knock-off wheels that use a lead hammer (last set of those i had came unscrewed and i lost a wheel while i was driving... ugh)
I kinda miss that style from time-to-time :)

1. Thats my only gripe, if they weight 30+ pounds I dunno. :O I rock Kosei K1s right now in 15s...not sure how light but that would be a big jump from lightweight to heavyweight.
2. Oh yeah? Right on man, I thought I was the only one who like this style of wheel on a non lowrider/truck. :P

Apologies for the zombie thread resurrection, but I hate creating new threads for nothing. Anyways, these came up as I was browsing instagram today:

All info was that they are called "papillons". Since they are cool as hell, does anyone have any leads on what those might be? Specs/sizes etc.?

Almost certainly 4x114, which would make them appear to be 14's, width looks less than 7 inches in that case, probably 6.
edit: Here's some info

I hadn't heard of them until just now.
