Evening All.

Picked this up today following a drive to the other side of the UK.

Its a late MK1 as it was registered in late 1997. Model is a V Spec imported from Japan in late 2008 so fairly rust free for the UK.

It has the following goodies.

S2 Racing Front Bumper.
Pitcrew Centre Exit dual exhaust.
Maxim Works Manfiold.
HKS Induction Kit with heat sheild.
Tein Coilovers.
Strut Brace (dont know the make, not Arc, any ideas?)
Razo Gear Knob.
Sleepy Eye Kit.
RS Aizawa vented headlight lid.
Momo Corse steering wheel with boss extension.
Cut rear bumper for the Pitcrew Exhaust
Shorty Centre Console (not fitted)

Anyway here are some photos.

OP, Nice car! I moved the thread to the NA sub-forum. As to the origin of the shock tower brace, I have no idea, but it does looks nice!

PS: I'd replace that radiator within the next few months.

You guys really get all the nice shit! That shock tower brace looks like a similar one made my Arc.

Not sure what prices are like in the US but this at worked out at around US$2300 with all the parts including hardtop, 83,000 miles on the clock and good soft top, no rust for a late 1997 model. Not sure how that compares with US prices. Here its about average for a nice condition mx5 rust free with a hardtop but had the bonus of the Jdm parts so will save on some stuff. However I have done. A swop for some 14' Panaport Formula alloys. Standard offset so nothing special but will look better I think to the modern 16' alloys.

Thanks. I've had this front bumper (but not this exact one) before as it came off a tricked up jdm mk1 v spec broke for parts in 2008 (ish). Apart from that one and this one not seen another in the UK. Car needs a real decent cut and polish and hopefully will come up nicely.

Thanks. Back in the day in the UK when their was ship loads of Japanese imports arriving in docks like Southampton, Liverpool, etc it was relatively easy coming across tricked up imported roadsters. Now as hardly any imports come in and many cars have been broken for parts its unusual coming across cars still in the UK with some nice parts already fitted. Hopefully there is still some more to be found!

Wow that was a steal! Agree that its not an ARC brace though (that pic above is the one I took of mine before fitting it to my car).

Very jealous of the S2 bumper - give me a shout if its ever up for sale!!!!!
