This is the jack adapter that FM recently came out with. This is for when you want to jack up the middle part of your car so you can easily rotate your tires. However, you can also use it jack up your car in the normal jacking point to prevent damaging in that area. A week ago I used my floor jack to jack up the front part of my car, and after I dropped the car I noticed that my jacking point was slightly bent. It bothered me so I bent it back with an open end wrench and it was good as new. However, I didn't want that to happen again, so I bought the FM adapter and Problem solved. If your planning to keep you roadster for a while and don't want the nasty look of the bent rails then this is worth the investment.

This is the picture of the wonderful little tool.

I love mine. I've used it on a half dozen Miatas, an s2000, and my Mazda3. Perfect on each of them. No more danger of crunched frame rails.

I made one out of a solid block of aluminium. Still, +1 on this thing, its pretty great.

The best thing is to buy 2 adapters and 2 jacks and you can jack both sides up to fit jack stands under the car.

Make sure to remember to take the adapter off your rail if it does not come off when you jack the car down! It can and will stick - I was lucky... drove with it all day yesterday; friction was my friend.... but it was really sobering.... that thing flying off the car at 75 on the interstate could have been bad news.

Aside from that irresponsible absent-mindedness, it has definitely made life easier for wheel changes and getting the car on stands!
