Hey guys, just heard about the new site from mx5nutz over in the UK. Just a quick introduction to the new forum. Looks great so far.

I owned an NA which. Supercharged and added a fair bit too. This is her:

I now own an NC which I love but for different reasons. Not quite as modified yet. Have a few plans up my sleeve but not much spare cash at the moment which is a bum! Had her lowered and a few tweaks here and there. 2.0 litre sport here she is:

Apologies or the rubbi picture need to get some decent ones taken in a nice setting. Have a few more somewhere of the NC but I'll upload them when I get some more current ones. Hope you like.

Hello jon. Welcome to MR! Let the other Nutz know as well. Love your NA. Did you sell it to a friend?

Hey guys, I sold it to somebody from mx5nutz. He was actually a French member on the forum. I've not seen/ heard much about it since I sold it apart from he did a track ah with it and it performed well. At the time I sold it I was pretty upset as I had some megasquirt issues which appeared from no where. I never solved the issues but he did fortunately.

Winlowe, are you from the UK or the US?

I'll be sure to put the word out of the forum. I frequent on miata.net too as they have a dedicated NC section. Although I'm finding there isn't as many people modifying NCs as much as NAs which is understandable as they are still relatively new. Joined here so I don't miss any NC goodness lol.

Have you checked out Goodwin Racing? I think he only races NCs but I don't think you're willing to gut your new one out. As NC prices come down, I'm sure they'll be a popular modding platform as NAs.

I have been on Brian goodwins shop site but never looked into the forum. Unfortunatly i use the NC as a lay driver to get me to work and back. In fact I used to NA in the same capacity but always knew it was easy to get second hand parts cheap and locally in case anything ever went wrong. NCs are still a little more pricy and quality second hand parts aren't as sail available yet. Give it time though. I have a friend who races NCs in a Mazda only race series. He loves them, used to use NAs too but they way forward are NCs.

I almost bought a red lotus Elan. I was parked up at he side of the NA I bought. I thought the lotus looked cool from a distance and was interested in that not knowing much about miatas. Up close it was a bit of a shed and suddenly the miata looked so much more appealing. So glad I changed my mind that day.

You did well passing over the Elan, the Elan is a collectors car, you drive them down the road then go back and collect all the pieces that have fallen off.

welcome! Glad to see other NC members on here. I'm a bit jealous though, as the UK-spec cars have such a clean looking front end without the amber reflector/light bulging out of the front bumper.
