Right now, I'm looking for Kool Kombis (only have the orange one), the white Mini from The Italian Job that was recently released, old Datsuns, Garage cars, Speed Machines cars, um... really, anything cool. Even some of the less cool Real Rider cars that had nice wheels for swapping. I missed out on the Mazda Furai a few years ago...

I'm gonna have a few silver RX-7s shortly. I just bought a small lot on ebay. They came out to $3 shipped each, which I thought wasn't bad.

Ok, so let me know whats interesting and I'll start hunting around. All the cars I've bought up to now are for my kids to wreck / play with, I buy the cars that I find interesting and they trash them ... So what's interesting / collectible, any particular series or is it just anything that's a model of an older car?

I have a load of Matchbox and some Corgi ... Again mostly well used though.

But I'm hoping the local Wal-Marts put the J case stuff out soon, so I'm being patient on those still. The '55 Gasser Super TH is easily at the top of my list. The Gasser is the coolest newer casting to me.

I also have the Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious. I looked these 2 cars up on ebay just for shits and giggles and found out they are worth quite some money now..

Since this is a a trade thread for Hot Wheels I don't think this is the appropriate place to discuss, but for the right price or some miata part I would probably part with them. I never knew these got valuable until I checked eBay the other day. Shoot me an PM. ;)

Those cars hit peak right after P. walker died, some sold for more than $500, it was crazy. Not sure the value now, but imports value is still somewhat high. Most of the higher values are for (MIB) Mint In Box, as once you take them out they get scratched, worn, faded, missing parts etc etc. So keep in mind the prices on ebay may not reflect the actual value of yours since yours are opened. But it does give you some ball park numbers.

Both have been out of the box for about 8 years now, the Skyline is absolutely mint, the Supra is also very good but as you can see the spoiler is missing. I did put it inside one of my other models so it wouldn't get lost, hope I can find it so I can restore it.

I did find a bin of the eight Fast and Furious cars . I got extras to see if I could help anyone out. I grabbed the nicest cards available but they did come out of a dump bin so be forewarned that a soft corner is possible here and there, but I don't actually remember any.

To keep things simple, I'm asking $1 per individual car or $8 for a complete set + whatever actual shipping to you is. Payment via PayPal. I'll trade for them too if desired.

Yeah, I heard some A cases were starting to hit Wal-Marts along with these FF cars. Plus the Wal-Mart A cases contained the last 3 2014 Zamacs. Going to check my home town WM this weekend.

Well there are a few things hitting Walmart right now:

Fast and Furious 288-ct dump bin
Batman 8-car series 288-ct dump bin
Q case, some with Zamacs, Zamac cases have no Supers
R case, which is Q/A mix with Zamacs and Regular THs but no Supers *edit* These do have Supers
A case, no Zamacs, but Supers (Kombi!) and Regular THs. But A case has only hit in the west/midwest so far.

That AE-86 with the FTE wheels is probably very sought after these days. Sell them all as a lot and would probably get more, say $25 to $35 for the lot of AE cars.

The 57 Chevy Funny car you can probably get $20 for.

Unfortunately the others would probably only fetch $5 to $10 each for.

Best bet is to check ebay for prices on those cars

I tried to trade some Merc's at the last big diecast show in my area and most of the sellers said they are no longer desirable because all those Merc fans have passed away. :shock:

Personally love the slammed Merc's, and other slammed hot rods of that era, especially like the Hot Wheels casting called the Tail Dragger, (my all time favorite because it was solid metal base, and solid metal top making it super heavy) and the Purple Passion (just because it was slammed and looked cool, to me anyhow), I believe 1 or both are based off the Merc?
