Hey guys I'm running on msm bilsteins with 6f and 7r springs. Front is perfect, I have more than anough bump travel but the rear fells a little uncomfortable. I was planning on using isc tophats? Do they really work well? How long should be the tophats? I was considering 1.5-2 inches tophats. Give some review on them. Thanx.

The ISC top hats are great, I am running a set on my track Miata. Be careful with the rear set-up though. If you are running a shortened shock DO NOT use the ISC top hats as you will run out of droop travel and cause very inconsistent handling. This is an issue with the rear suspension though, not an issue with the ISC top hats.

mine are not shortened, they are stock shocks. They are very tall, so that's why I'm planning to use them.

Have seen them on an NA, but not an NB

As far as I know, the do not fit unter front on the nb. But rear should be just fine. I wanted to race the shock shaft so the car will not unload that much on the rear.

I prefer the 1 inch tophats on the rear. If you are below 12 inches then 1.5 inch tophats.

I'm sitting at 5 inchs pinch weld to the ground. So, sounds like a 1.5 inch. How long are your bumpstops?

Sorry for thread jack - I actually have a similar question.

Race setup for next season is going to be koni race front, koni sport rear. I have 6" springs for front and rear, along with helper springs and couplers for the rear to keep the spring seated under full droop.

I have set of modified NB tophats I was going to use for the rears. Will this add enough travel, or should I really be using those for the front and picking up a set of ISC tophats for the rear? Can anyone tell me how much the ISC tophats cost? (Its not listed on their website.)

No instructions for installing them, I just made do with nb rubber bushings and washers to get them snug.... Mine happened to be very noisy.

They did improve ride quality though when i gained travel I had lost from lowering my car

I was gonna drill the hole to about the same size nb tophats have and use nb bushings and washers.
