FAQ

Q: Can I have matching center caps made?!?!
A: Sorry. The epoxy I'm using on the keychains is not suitable for outdoor exposure. It will yellow in the sun. That means I can't do wheel center caps yet. I'm trying different types of jeweler's resin and am hoping to be able to offer the center caps soon.

Q: Can I have a custom keychain made for my Dodge/Lamborghini/RX-7/Jeep Scrambler?
A: Sure! The cost will be a bit higher. Check out the Custom Keychain Page (http://revlimiter.net/store/keychain-custom.php) for more details.

Q: Can I order a horn button from you?!??
A: Not yet. I don't have a good source for blank horn buttons. If you have a blank horn button in your posession and the button itself is perfectly flat, then yes. I could make you a domed insert for it. Cost would be in the custom keychain area.

Great work, Adam, as usual! Warped minds think alike, I see, as several years back I toyed with designs to replace the hood and trunk badges that looked like the 'warbird' with the 'm' in a "usual" orientation, same number of wings, even. I decided against it as it didn't exactly fit the feel of the rest of the car; I am still working on different designs. Tough because there are many winged badges out there for different marques, and I feel it should be unique but recognizable.

There was interest on another board in leather key fobs, so I ordered a small batch. Took about 3 weeks to get them in hand... but they're here! If anyone would like a keychain made from one of these, please hit my order form. Price would be the same.

They're very close in size to the chrome metal ones. The logo area is 27mm rather than 29. All designs SHOULD be able to be shrunk this small amount.

Also, I'm having kind of an unpublished sale at the moment on keychains, trying to get rid of old stock. Future keychains will use flexible polyurethane epoxy rather than rigid UV resin. It's just a tougher, better material.

Sorry, I can't do horn buttons at the moment. I've evaluated every brand over the past few months. EVERY brand. None would work with my process. All I need is one with a flat button. They don't exist.

I'll have a factory run some off in a couple months. But I've got a few new products to release before that happens.

The artwork for the Type V came from Steve (R2 Limited). I've since updated it ever so slightly to include some space between the top edge of the gold and the chrome ring, but nothing else. I didn't realize the ring was that wide.

Type V Makeover
I completely re-drew the Type V artwork to make it more accurate to the original logo. Took a while, but the result is so worth it. I also changed the colors. I'm now using a darker blue that's a match for the original and gold foil instead of gold metallic vinyl.
