This is the Official Project-G Annual Meet 2014 Update Thread.

We will be posting any important information pertaining to the event in this thread. Any changes, additions, etc. will be posted here. So make sure to check back often to see what is happening.

Here at Project-G we are all really excited as this event is taking shape. A lot more vendors have come forward this year to take part in this.

We have secured overflow parking at Nichol's Lumber on the corner of Dalewood and Maine Ave. They are nice enough to allow us to use their parking lot for the event.
So please show them respect and treat their parking lot appropriately. No burnouts or donuts PLEASE.
We will have people patrolling the parking lot, as well as the surrounding streets to keep an eye on the cars not parked in the venue.

All our past events have gone off without incident, so we don't expect this year to be any different.

First and foremost, the people at Track Dog Racing™ are Miata enthusiasts. Gary Shuhart, the head dog, has a degree in industrial engineering from Texas A&M University. By the time he joined the Miata community, Gary already had more than 30 years of expertise in the field of industrial heating and process control systems.
Gary developed some unique products for his own car, and was encouraged to put them into production. So in the Spring of 2003 he started another company, Track Dog Racing, and has been successful selling his performance products on the internet and through distributors.

One of the first products to market was the TDR air splitter. After having several encounters with curbs and other obstructions, Gary designed and built the first prototype TDR air splitter. After finally getting the design worked out for his '99 Miata, he then started designing them for several other cars. The air splitter quickly became a popular product.

Along with the air splitters, Gary designed and developed the TDR Heat Shield. Nearly 5,000 heat shields are in use and they have excellent reviews from our customers.

Finally, in the Spring of 2003, Gary designed and developed the first production Air-to-Air intercooler for the MP62 supercharger. This intercooler has proven so successful that it has been developed for the BRP and FM Turbos and the Jackson Racing Supercharger, helping these induction systems produce incredible and safe horsepower.

SSR:
In 1971 SSR released the first 3 piece wheel, the MK1. Aluminum wheels were in high demand and resulted in the creation of JWL (Japan Light Alloy Wheel) Certification in 1973. The Japanese Government incorporates this certification on aluminum wheels to improve quality and safety. JWL certification involves testing impact strength and endurance strength. SSR wheels are always put through JWL testing before they are used on the street or track. In 1981, a 3rd party statutory board the VIA (Vehicle Inspection Association) was created to verify JWL testing. Both the JWL and VIA logo are embossed into each and every SSR wheel representing dedication to quality control. SSR has always focused on manufacturing precise, lightweight, and strong wheels and will continue this tradition for years to come.
