How wow, Blackwater Inn. That brings back memories when my family still had the Eliminator.

Our event coordinator is a GREAT drive planner. His strives to make journey even more interesting than the destination (although the destination is usually pretty good too) and has been quite successful. He finds interesting, scenic and fun-to-drive roads in this state, which are of course mostly known for flat and straight.

Jim, our Events Coordinator, has worked out a "bonus" option for those making tomorrow's drive to the Blackwater Inn. He has arranged a river cruise that leaves from the inn and tours the St. Johns River and other waterways in the area. We should arrive at the inn for lunch around 1:00pm. For those interested, the boat tour will leave between 3:00pm and 3:30pm (possibly earlier if they don't have a 1:00 tour). The cruise lasts approximately 2 hours. Cost is $25 for less then 15 people or $20 for 15-21 people. At the start of the drive, Jim will ask for a show of hands for those interested so he can call ahead to make final arrangements.

Here is a link for more information on the boat tour: http://stjohnsrivertours.com/Custom-Boat-Tours.html

If you are planning on coming on the drive, please RSVP at the following link: https://www.facebook.com/events/434451223324260/
