Would really like a Pitcrew nose. But, it's so unlikely. I see that and I see the cost of it, shipping, and paint & body work to graft it on to the car properly. Also, that looks like a rounded corner Pitcrew, so what about a hood?

From what I understand, if you choose the rounded hood shape, then you'll have to fabricate/fuse the Miata stock hood, with the pop up lights rounded off in the corners. I'm thinking they would have to weld pieces of aluminum in there.

Huh, I thought they might have also made a custom fiberglass hood to go along with that version of the front clip. But if what you're saying is the case I understand why people go with the popup corner version more (or it seems to be more popular). To do it right otherwise (in my eyes) would mean aluminum cut to shape, formed to the proper contours, welded in, and with rolled edges. All without warping the aluminum. Quite a bit of extra work.

I think they started doing the rounded hoods on the NB version of the kit. It looks super clean for sure that way.

The rounded round is like Wasabi has mentioned the same as mine. It is not how mine left Pitcrew but like in Japan how some pitcrews have been modified to improve the lines of the bonnet from the pop up angular bonnet.

For me it has meant more work fitting and hopefully it all comes together properly. I went another way and instead of using the aluminium bonnet have a modified glass fibre garage vary bonnet instead. Right now it looks crap and son of Frankenstein but hopefully the finished result works better!

Reference the pitcrew bumper for sale on ebay I'd agree it has probably limited the potential buyers as not everyone will want to get involved in welding and blending a aluminum bonnet to lose the angles of the pop ups on bonnet (as original bonnet/pitcrew mk1 lines would be preferred as make install easier.)

However done right the pitcrew for sale would look pretty cool!
