Them guys talk funny don't they. Did you notice how the cameramen at the starting line were focusing their L-series lenses on the crowd, daisies, macros of worms in the grass... Anything but those sub 16 second rockets.

Oh finally watched the 3rd race (22 minutes for 40 seconds of racing....), guess it's the clutch and he's just dumb.

Hmm... a guy names Marty losing a drag race in a Miata. Where have I seen that before? Let's see... oh, yeah! Last time I was at a drag strip I lost to a single-turbo Supra by .2 seconds (1000' strip). I was in my old '96 Miata with FM3 and their "big" ball bearing turbo. I also lost to a caged V8 '67 or '68 Camaro on slicks. But I did beat a WRX.

I remember being upset when I first watched that video because I know my turbo miata would have wrecked that S2K, from personal experience of course ;) I probably had the same feelings as miata2fast lol

I think the S2K owner I raced must have watched that video before the race because he was really confident in his car, up until I actually put my foot the rest of the way down and pulled away from him. The change in the expression on their face from thinking they're going to win to realizing they're going to lose really badly is priceless. Think Jesse from FnF in the Jetta vs the S2K :frantic:
