So, I thought this might be a good idea..
If you've carried oblong, big, or weird objects for long distances, show us how you've done it.

I have to go pick up four 15" rims on saturday, and I can't remove the hard top, and I've got no idea what I'll do.

Maybe remove the passenger seat and hopefully fit three, and one strapped to the trunk on a towel..

Anywho, It's times like those I'd enjoy a thread like this, thought it might help in the future!
:eagerness:

I had four wheels with tires in my NA.
One in the trunk, two in the seat and one on the floor, leaning against the passenger seat. Though, no right view.

When I was working at a tire shop, I had to take my old MSM out to pick up tires in case if the manager wasn't around. I was able to fit 2 tires on the pax seat, one wrapped around the headrest, one stuffed in between my roll bar diagonals, and one in the trunk.

I was able to fit four 16x8 wheels with 225/50 tires on them in my old NC by putting 3 in the passenger seat and 1 in the trunk. Be careful while merging to the right!

So the whole take the hardtop off thing is off limits.
Although I've been called a trooper before, there's a fine line between retarded behaviour and trooper behaviour...

lol.

I think I'll put one in the trunk, tie one on top of it with the grampa bars I've got there, and two on the pass seat.

pff, you only need to see straight ahead!

Not if you're going sideways! lol

The wheel around the headrest is a great idea that I never tried. I usually could fit 3 15s w/tires in the passenger seat, one in the trunk w/o the spare there.

No problem with 16" rims and tyres like in the picture - two at passenger seat and two in the opened trunk (but I have only a photo with 14" inside)

I fit one tire in the trunk, two in the pass seat, and one on the floorboard. I had all the room in the world to stuff at least two up on the rear deck. Given I took out the soft top since my hardtop is always on.
It's not too hard to do.

lol, so update, I didn't get the rims, used the money on repairs and maintenance for the car.

last summer I say someone taking a huge sheet of MDF from home depot onto his miata, and having it rest on the rollbar...

Ive had to haul a couple sets of wheels in my car... LMAO! A couple times with the top on because it was raining, and had all 4 in the car because I have a sub in the trunk :P

BTW! the first pic shows my car looking very fadded in paint! Its the sun glare and was a pic at about 7:30am during december with all the frost everywhere! My friend had to ride with wheels on his lap for about 30 min! haha!

Four years ago, when I still had my Merlot, and lived in Clearwater, by the beach; I had two female passengers in the passenger seat, and another chick in the rear deck. It looked GLORIOUS! Wish I had a phone camera then...
