NA carpet into NB

I can't seem to find a definite answer, but does anyone know if it's doable without much modification? It seems like it shouldn't be too different...

I've never attempted swapping the carpet, but having stripped both generations plenty of times I'd risk a guess that the main floor pan carpet is nearly identical.
The only difference that I can think of is whether the NA carpet is out of a car with the ECU at the passenger footwell or behind the passenger seat.
Since NB's ECU is stuck under the dash I'd look into getting the carpet out of an NA that had the ECU behind the seat.

Do you need to replace that main carpet in your NB?
If you need a tan one I have a perfect condition piece..

Thanks for the reply Moti. I was looking for good shots of a stripped NA/NB interior to compare, but I was thinking the same thing. I appreciate the offer, but I'm looking for a different color :)

Yes an NA carpet will fit directly. As long as its from a NA 1.8. As moti said. The 1.6 has the ecu in the passenger footwell and well make for a short carpet in a 99. I have installed the 99 carpet in the Na many times.
