Anyone here run a head from Blink Motorsport? Or similar? Does it make sense for a daily driver (driven hard?).
Their packages sure looks promising. And 145 hp at the flywheel for £1200 ($2009 inc. MS) isn't that bad!

cool, first time ive seen this option. shipping a motor back and forth overseas would kill us here in the USA though.

80whp stock? I'm thinking even that seems a bit low for a 1.6 and 88whp from a 1.8?

It's definitely an awesome package, I wish someone offered a simple deal like that here.

My "plan" is to buy a complete head on Ebay.co.uk, deliver to them, then they'll send it to me (though, shipping to Norway is always expensive —*Hard Dog Rollbar? Yep, that'll be $1000).

That engine in the video sure sounds… healthy.

The car in the video measured about 80whp on their dyno, 110 after the upgrade.

They also offer a Stage II upgrade, seeing about 170 hp at the crank for the 1.6

Eh, I don't know. Take away the cost of the MSPnP and you're at $1200-1300. That is the price of a 99-00 or even 01+ motor. 140 stock, even more if you have a square top manifold. Add in the MSpnp, you will eclipse that. A number of guys here make 140+ at the wheels with the aforementioned pieces.

I know. Both of the stock cars seem down ~10hp from what they should be. So the gains from the head appear inflated is what I'm saying.

Dynapack. I bet their correction factor is off somehow... but I usually see it reading higher.
