Kent from enkei posted up a picture of what they are calling the RPF1RS wheel which has a slight concave face in a 15x8 +28 size. Should make a great a great option for those looking for a functional fitment wheel

Wow.. I've been waiting for this forever, but also realize they probably won't fit over my NB sport brakes. so now I'm sad

Thank you enkei. Always liked rpf1's with how light they are and not expensive. I think they finally offer a size that I can enjoy

Much like their sister company's wheel Konig Wideopen 15x8 with available +20 or +25 offsets. Except for bragging rights I see not much difference.

Is rather have the concave face versus a big lip

You mean less concave lesser lip coz' Konig Wideopen has concave face with about 1.5" lip. IMO it would have been better if Enkei made 15x8 +19 flat face with a lip just like their 14"s. Or better yet 15x8 +14 so a BBK such as the Wilwood would fit.

..I'm confused.. I've only seen Wideopens with a convex face.

Not only that, an enkei rep says they already clear big brakes, as mentioned by Phatmiata in this (mazdaroadster.net/showthread.php?9415-New-Enkei-RPF1-s-we-have-been-waiting-for&p=137007&viewfull=1#post137007) post.

Although these 15's are still awesome. I'd bet that they'll be around 11-11.5lbs. going on that the 15x7's are 9.8lbs., and 14x7's are 8.6lbs.

They do look nice, especially in that SBC finish, but I'm on that 14" bus

For a track day these are going to be a great option. The tire choices are so much greater in 15''. They clear sport brakes, same great look, still will be light weight. Im a fan of 14'' even on NB's but ill more then likely own a set someday.

big caliper clearance isn't necessarily sport brake clearance. often there's issues with the banjo bolt fitting as well. so we'll have to see. hopefully they'll clear sport brakes though.

This is true, hopefully nothing a spacer couldn't fix

Bout time! If they are <11.5 lbs than I will have to get a set because I wanted rpf1's from the start but tire selection strayed me away to the 15x8 konig flatouts which are a bargain at 12.4lbs and $109/wheel. That sbc finish is nice! :)

I chuckled... There isn't a GB and/or any sort of discount but Enkei sent Brian at GWW 8 sets + one extra for a total of 35 wheels.

The first 8 sets are being sent/being delivered right now. Mine arrived this morning. 15x8 +28, silver ONLY, 11.3lbs each. I won't link other forums so that research is on you. Mods here hate me enough already... According to Brian, black is a maybe. All other colours/finishes are a no or, at best, a long shot. So far there hasn't been any update when the next batch will arrive in the U.S.

I got five and one guy did a stagger/split on a set to run 15s in the front and 16s in the rear on his V8 Roadster. As of Friday there were a total of six left.

What they look like wrapped in Hankook 225/45 R-S3s on a NB.
