So Im very interested in keeping the top dash but removing the bottom half while keeping the ac/hc and doing a custom panel job with al sheet to hide the nasties. I want more space and I want a custom look even if it looks a little backyard. I havent seen anyone try this. The question is... Can it be done?

I have a 2001 dash for sale if you don't want to hack up your 2000's dash. I'm in Raleigh, as well.

Andrew, why don't you start a FS thread in the Classifieds? You have an 01 NB. I am sure people will be looking for parts.

The tough part will be keeping your creature comforts without removing them.

I just realized how awkward that thought was entered, but you get what I mean, lol. It would be interesting if the AC controls could me relocated to the upper dash, and retain the functionality

Hehe...figured I'd offer some nice competitive pricing since most of the time people charge $100-150 for these things...$25 is a killer deal DK Affect!!!
