NC Map Light Switch Removal

I need to replace the map light switch on my '08 NC PRHT. I tried pressing in the clip on the passenger side once the lens was removed. The switch assembly will drop down on the passenger side end but will not come out to where I can disconnect the wiring. Any ideas? Thank you.

Took a bit more pressure but finally got the map light out. The metal clip had been bent out of shape, so did not release. Installing the new map light was not problem.
