The next best thing to seam welding. Stiffen the uni-body in all aspects. The cowl stabilizers braces join the thinner fender material into the stout core of the uni-body via four locations. Using square tubing which offers the best torsion stiffness via uniform geometry and larger cross sectional area. Yielding in better tension and compression than plate and rectangular styles. This while offering the lowest weight to strength ratio. The main tube running for the lower door hinge, the stiffest area of the uni-body, to the upper mounting point of the fender. The triangulation built into the center of the brace transfers load across the entire section of the fender area. The braces are keep close to the chassis to help eliminate flexing between the four mounting locations.

YEA! Gotta wait for the next paycheck to send payment but I'm in! Also, I believe your in the Tampa area, is it possible to pick them up?

Shandelle said that he will build a few sets for the locals too, but you would need to send him an email and let him know you want to pick it up local. I think it would be easier if he brought the sets to a local meet to hand out since he is in and out of his shop throughout the day.

I should have gotten these when I put that giant rb sway on the front. Count me in.

Not yet. Just placed the order this weekend and Shandelle contacted me today about refunding the calculated shipping charges. He also let me know that they are about a week out from shipping the latest batch.

The group buy price is valid until 10/23/13. A great price in relation to competitors and the design is getting the thumbs up from the engineer types among us.
