Between the mirror base and the door?
Yep. Between the mirror base and the door.
Make them?
Let us know how it goes and post up some pics!
Precisely. You can buy gasket material in rolls in different size, thickness and materials.
It's really easy as all you have to do is cut out a piece in the approximate size the set the gasket material on the piece(mating surface) you are making it for and use something like a ball ping hammer to go around the edges and holes, essentially etching it. You should be able to remove the material easily by hand.
I used 1/8" sheet urethane for my vitaloni mirror bases. I traced the base and mounting holes on it. I cut them out and used a hole punch for the screw holes. They turned out great.
You can also make a heavy paper template of the base an use it to transfer the paper template to the chosen material for making base gasket for the mirror.
The mounts for this particular mirror are HDPE plastic (or similar) and angled about 1/4" on the outside edge, and also has the metal base of the mirror sits inside that plastic base (because the mirrors are kinda heavy) so that the mirror is angled more properly, I kinda dont think a standard rubber gasket will work as good, maybe though. I have seen folks on yahoo auctions selling replacement (blue) glass and also that plastic mount, but that was by total accident, I found those auctions when looking for the mirrors themselves.
here is a pic, you can see them kinda in the right corner base of the photo

here is a better photo, you can see the metal base of the mirror is not flat, so a standard rubber seal might not work

I can make some inquiries, I have two friends with 3D plastic printers. One of them has a scanner. Maybe I can get a batch of them made. I know I'd be happy to have spares just in case.

Yes, TPU would be great for these. Or you can mold and cast in flexible PU.
