leaking back window
Attachment 12533
I noticed this morning when.my back dash was soaked..the.top is in fairly good.condition.so I would.hate.to.have.to.replace.it..is there a glue.or.something I can use to.seal it.up...the window is.glass and.I know.it might be.a.stressful folding spot.when opening and closing.the top...
Thanks
Dwayne

Have you checked the drains?
-
The lower seam is apart on my top...figured it was that instead if drains

Go outside with a cup of water. Pour it on window. If it leaks through top then there is your problem. On your drains/rainrail. Take out rear carpet. Spray waterhose on top not supersoake but just get some water on it. Inspect raintal for water coming out. Look under car. You should have water coming out of both drains.

Anyone have any.advice on how to.seal the vinyl peeling away.from the.back glass?
-
You're in the south, so duct tape is the only answer!
-
Hell no to.duct.tape...looks way to.tacky
-
-
Maybe try some 3M Headliner/Fabric adhesive. They sell it at The Zone.
-
Don't use Gorilla Glue though. It is messy and looks worse than duct tape.

do you have a photo of what area you are talking about? are you sure it not just time for a new top?

Phat. Top of post is a pic. He is talking about bottom outside edge of the glass window. Dont mind the bird poop he parks under trees.
