Hey Andrew! I had to use double sided tape on the inside of the Nielex tombstone. I will try to find some pictures and PM to you. So far, the tape has held up very well and no issues with bumpy roads.

So instead of using the top two screws inside the HVAC duct, you just double sided taped the whole thing to the dash?
I screwed mine in as normal, not sure how everyone else is having a problem? Maybe its the vents but I was using the stock A/C vent balls 15 years ago with this tombstone, and now using the Nielex Balls with no issue. what is @oldgrayleather using on his?
stunning pictures. May pass as a Mazda catalog
Just went through the entire thread. What an amazing build. I love the Pit Crew front end comboed with the rear. The shots in downtown are also really nice and bring out the features of the car.
Love to see other CA miatas here. Hello from the Bay:D
Sorry for the delay in my response Andrew. I could not find a photo of the posterior section of the Nielex tombstone. I still used the top two screws inside the HVAC duct, but the support was not enough because the weight of the Hayashi + AWD. Therefore, I used double sided tape to hold the back portion of the Hayashi's to the actual tombstone. I do not have the luxury to move the eye vents with my current set up :cry2:
This year is focused on performance and starting phase two of my build. I was very lucky to link up with @dirtylove_mandrew and he made a custom 1.6L high rise header/midpipe for my build. The results were absolutely stunning and the welds... Gah damn! I then decided to get them ceramic coated in classic polish by Jet-Hot for that show factor and to keep the engine bay cool for the next mod
