I just notice it kind of ticks a little bit on startup. Loses no oil and seems fine otherwise.

It’s doing what it’s named.
lol...Not quite how I'd planned.
It seems to be OK otherwise.
Took the car out to a local CnC event held at a local car guy's man-cave. Well, I can't really describe it properly other than to show you video of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ua7xVmydzMQ
Before I left, I snapped one pic of The Tick with my new-to-me (today was the first day I put a lens on it and took it out) Nikon D7000:

Nothing new mechanically with the car. The steering spacer from 949 is an amazing bit of kit. Pricey, but if you want to keep the stock wheel, it's great.
We have the same camera! I'm still trying to figure it out.
Not much to report. Might have possibly dented a rim, or else my tires are now permanently out of round, so that's fun. MATG XXV was SUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER busy. Drove the Dragon once on the way in on Wednesday and once on the way out on Sunday. Other than a run to Robbinsville, NC for lunch, The Tick never left the Fontana Village premises.
Here are the shots I had time to get :)
One particular highlight is that not one, but TWO other Laser Blues made it this year!

Only real update: car is scheduled for paint in November. Not a full repaint, though.
Still exciting to get that part done.
Welp, dropped it off.

See you in a bit, buddy.

Had to stop by the body shop to pick up some stuff I'd forgotten to take out of the car. Bumper was already off :)
I hope to have my car repainted in the next year or so. Tired of looking at the peeling/cracking but don't want to paint until I'm ready!
Shop called me today expecting 5-6 more hours in the bumper sanding and filling deep rock chips. I'm glad they called me. So far, they've been good about talking to me and getting feedback about what I want.
HELL YEAH!!! Hope it's a great bodyshop experience.
