So I finally dug deep and found that the AK top has such weak mount points. AK decided to just use nuts and just stick it onto pretty much the surface of the fiberglass. So upon tightening down the hardtop brackets it pretty much pulls the nut out.
In attempt to repair the horrible fiberglass work I just re epoxied the nut back on and layer it fairly thick.
It had such thin fiberglassing around the anchor points (nuts) hopefully everything is somewhat refreshed again

Small cooling issue update, a friend of mine gave me an almost new koyo hyper vcore which happens to have a small pinhole on one of the tubes.
Was able to have it repaired by a radiator shop and it now replaced my old first gen koyo radiator.
949 states that the hyper v core runs about 10 degrees cooler than the first gen koyo, so I told myself I might as well swap it since it was pretty much handed to me.
Worse case if i still don’t see the results i want I am definitely ready to buy a cross flow super Miata radiator to mate with my Qmaxx reroute.
If it doesn’t work even after a crossflow, I’ll just retire the Miata for track duties..
Not sure what to make out of my car anymore. School takes so much of my time that I forget it even exists. The dust gets thicker after every time I peak at it in the garage

Cmon Gene - you can beat this. Scroll back through the 69 pages you've shared of the journey with your car, Take time for school but don't give up. Take a look at how positive it is pops is back in his RX3 and do yourself the favor of not giving up just yet!
PS: Sorry but I couldn't "Give Thanks" to this post :).
Or do what I do when I start getting that way. Drive it
Yikes car barely started since the battery got a bit discharged from not driving it
I’ve always been hooked on tracking from karting to cars, but the person this memorial was for is the one who reeled me into hosting events. Will be forever missed but will try to carry on the legacy.

Good news!
Car lasted two full 20 minute sessions on track! Newer version koyo hyper vcore definitely did something.
Weather was definitely cooler, but before it would creep up even during winter time. Now it stays below 200
After running it full tilt finally, I discovered other problems. Car is begging for an aftermarket ecu and suspension needs to be retuned. Handling problem might be just needing an alignment

So I finally let go of the TRM wheels, all time favorite wheel 15x8 et20. Great aggressive fitting wheels with nice concave.
Ended up picking up a set of Rpf1s in sbc finish! Basic yes I know aha. Wasn’t planning to buy another track set soon but was definitely in the market if something popped up.
