I've been quite busy the last few months... new job, a lot of work on my house etc. so let's catch up.
new engine is in and runs great. I just have to change the waterpump because the blade scrapes on the housing and I don't want it to crap out on me on the road.

I've been driving and driving and driving after the swap, enjoying the reliable engine.

opened a kind of a shop with two buddies

then found a two years old shot of my car on the green watanabes

and then bit the bullet and got me a supercharger (MP45 from a Mini Cooper S)

So now I'm sourcing all the bits I need
-supercharger - check
-bypass valve - check
-mounting kit, inlet, outlet - check
-AEM Wideband - check
-NB8 VVT injectors - check
-Megasquirt, probably Reverant built - to buy
-
I should really come here more often, but between the house reconstruction, work and the lady, there's really not much time.
fited the SC and started working on the inlet as the TR Lane one won't fit on LHD car... if there's anyone who knows of a better way to solve this, let me know

there's not much space for the second throttle body so I'll have to get creative...
other than that, AEM UEGO is on, MW header is fixed, just needs a thermal wrapping. I've placed an order for MS2 with Reverant, should've been ready week ago but he's waiting for a batch of sensors so the ECU is the last thing that's missing to make it running

Great Progress George, how is the car shop working out? I am sure someone on the forum has a solution for the TR Lane delimma!!
-
Looking good George! As far as the custom intake, it's a shame you couldn't bring it into the cowl. The brake lines are easy to bend (make custom lines), and then you could run the piping into the cowl, and have an air filter inside the nice front cowl, sucking cool fresh air.
-
well I could probably do that but I'm going to use the autoexe CF intake with the charger...
-
and there's also no space to route it to the cowl as I found out yesterday
-
Supercharger instal is finished, sadly I couldn't use the whole AutoExe intake, but the filter alone works just fine. I also placed bid on another intake in Japan so we'll see if I get it and if it will work better.
Hose clamps were changed for different ones since I've been loosing pressure and blowing the silicon elbows off of the charger.

I also got me frame rails, but I have yet to enlarge the holes and get better hardware, because it came with weak M6 bolts and I broke 3 of them just on the drivers side without any power used

looking good man, looking good!!
-
so, it seems I just won a D-Technique CF intake in Japan so I hope it will fit with the charger as the autoexe won't

^^That really looks great George!

I really dig this car.
George
There is another cold air duct option for your supercharger. Try this page

Thanks! This one should fit, but the charger is put aside now since my mom ended in hospital with a tumor and all the bills are on me since she won't be able to work for some time...
-
well... I like it but i'm probably going to sell it...
in other news, results from the dyno day
194.34 foot pounds or whatever units do you use (263,5 Nm) and 203 bhp @ 5500RPM (safety precaution)
