Thanks Guys, I will not give up......................
I liked the direction you were headed. Hoping for good health for you also.
The Italia will be staying with me, I had offers but I could not part with it, so since I have plenty of garage time, I will be replacing the old original radiator, CAS O-ring, and a new Valve Cover gasket, work pics to come soon!!
I just picked up a hardtop and will be getting a fresh coat of Black paint for the winter driving months!
Yesss!!!
Every Time I See It I Get a Lump in My Throat and My Heart Skips a Beat!!! You probably said, but why were the mirrors moved off the fenders? I may have asked before too. (bad memory). I'm thinking of mounting some talbots either on the fenders or as far forward on the door as possible (for me) I hate how close the mirror is now. It just feels all wrong to me. Just pm me please as I don't want to miss what you have to say, Thanks & GOD BLESS
I moved the mirrors off the fenders because they were mostly useless out there. I couldn't get them adjusted to where I needed them.
I have played around with a few types of mirrors, and its hard to get a set that will view over the rear fenders, without losing the vintage feel, the current KGW mirrors work and keep the period style............
I met the new owner yesterday (12.06.22) @ the Chattanooga Airport, really nice guy ~ he was excited to see the Italia, and it was a good thing, he headed toward Boston MA a 1k+ mile trek. I texted him later in the evening and he was staying at the Inn Virginia Tech, more to come as the Italia makes it's way home :)
I packed a few items for the trip:

Good luck to the new owner :)
I drove it from OH to AR when I bought it, ~800 miles. It performed flawlessly, except for the old tires. I should have replaced them before heading home.
