Too cool!
Do they have a timeline for the areas it will be? I'll drive a bit to give AO some more Japanese condiment photos!
I soooo wanted to go since it was only four or five hours away but couldn't get an all-day sitter. If you signed it, you're immortalized in Miata history. At least a couple of local GearheadsMiataClub.net guys joined Phat in history so I was there vicariously.
All the dates are emailed to Miata club presidents or POCs. I get info on these events due to my being a president in the local club. I'll get the info and dates and post it here.

At each tour stop, the first 240 owners and fans will have the opportunity to sign the one-millionth MX-5, and approximately 400 attendees will receive a commemorative “Millionth Miata Celebration Tour” T-shirt at each tour stop.
Texas is next with 3 stops, then Arizona, and finally the Miatas at Laguna Seca
I'll post here what I posted locally as it may help others.

I was the first to sign it at the Jacksonville stop.
And signed... and I'm about to drop some info on you to make your event the best for you.
Each stop, the first 240 get to sign, and first 400 get a shirt. Fun fact: I talked to the setup staff who tours with the vehicle, and no event has had more than 120-150 people. Don't worry about being unable to sign.
I got there at 8:30 and they were still setting up. Given they were in Atlanta until 8pm last night so they may not be so late setting up in Daytona.
Look for a table with a table full of the shirts behind it. That's where you want to find yourself just before the line forms. They will announce that they are going to start the line, but if you're already at the table, congrats, you're first. They'll hand you a tablet to get some minor info, then you get a wristband.
Make your way over to the ND, and they will tell you where to sign with a paint pen, and they will instruct you how to use it to get a clear signature.
Once you're done, to your left there will be another covered "stage" area between the ND and the 15th Miata. Go up there to get a sticker and a commemorative custom engraved plaque/badge. It looks like they have 100 per event for those.

All in all, aside from the heat and not knowing anyone, it was a great event. The First Coast Miata Club had a good turn out and were very friendly.

I hated missing out on this.
Thanks for the information Randy and Corey! :drinkto: Hopefully I get to sign it and get some goodies as well!
I am shocked - SHOCKED - that there are no tour stops near me. Who wouldn't want to come to Arkansas?

Arkansas probably isn't a big-enough city.
Just kicking my self that Charlotte was Sept. 8 and Randy posted the timeline on the 18th.. :cry2:
I missed out and should have known with my own research. Danm life and it's distractions! :fp:
Anyone going to the ones in Texas??
Anyone Texas locals know the address to the one in Dallas Texas? I'm out here for a wedding and wouldn't mind meeting some of you guys. I looked on google maps but nothing comes up under that name?
