Duh. So nobody will steal them.
Yup. You *could* place the bearings in the freezer and the uprights/knuckles in the oven at around 200 degrees or less for easier installation.
You just have to make sure everything is square before dropping the bearings in place. Heat transfers pretty rapidly at that sort of temperature differential, and if things get cocked even a little bit it makes for a mighty frustrating time (I do have experience with this).
Good point. No issues here. It all dropped in great with the press.
