Any experience of these?

Currently have no-name Free Form plastic lamps, which after 10 years use, are looking grim (scratched, and dirt baked into the plastic, rotted rubber boots). I want to go back to an original glass setup (so no Raybrig). Cibie and Hella are not an option; no longer available in RHD. There are ubiquitous Wipac and Ring lamps, but indifferent beam focus. Typically, changing the lamps now won't be as straightforward now (the screws on the retaining ring are rusted in). Autopal are an Indian copy of the Hella, but with thinner glass. Simiarly, Neolite copies the Cibie Z-beam. There are also Carello copies, but I'm sure these are also from India, and more for looks than performance.
With Lucas, there are Lucas P700s around, at one time considered superior to Cibies. But they are copies now, not originals.
With the Lucas LUB328 (illestrated above), this is actually Lucas, or at least, official branded ones. Lucas disappeared years ago, and the rights to the lighting division ended up with Elta, another UK parts maker:

Probably quite good. Reminds me of the Hella construction. It's really really close to the Hella design, especially the rear.
You absolutely sure you can't get Hellas for RHD ?
I have some Raybrigs RHD spare. Can't use them anymore ;)

Hella only do one with a pilot light. Don't want that, especially given the ridiculous price.
Already done the Free Form thing, and don't want to return to that. Raybrigs are about £150 a set. The pilot light Hellas are £110 a pair; paying that sort of money, I don't one with a spare hole. Lucas 328s are £60.

I paid a lot less than £110 a pair but that was for my LHD Hellas :-) in pound terms it was closer to £60.
Report back on the Lucas!

Oops, I found some in Germany. or I least hope they are, SKU# 1L6 002 395-842
I know at least one of the bulb connectors is burnt (last time I changes a bult, the block needed a bit of wiggling, doubt its gotten any better since), so have a couple of Ring ceramic H4 connectors to splice in.

I spoke too soon. Placed order, a week later told now Hella 7" headlamps unobtanium for RHD cars. So went back to original plan for a set of Lucas 328 headlamps from David Manners.
