Finally going to start documenting my Miata build log on here. Picked up this 1997 M-Edition back in January after losing my first Miata (96 M-Edition) to a front end collision that bent the frame in October. I was lucky to find my second favorite M-Edition relatively close by and with low miles (68k when I bought it). A two owner car, the previous owner was a young dude who had bought it from the original owner in 2017 I believe. The guy I bought it from didn't put many miles on the car thankfully.
The Miata itself was very clean needing few things in order to get it 100%. Since January, I have been slowly modifying the Miata getting it back on par with my old one. However, with this Miata, I plan to be more meticulous and thoughtful with the mods I make. I've listed what I've already done to the Miata prior to the post and will update it as I go.
Tentative Long(ish) Term To-Do List:
Upgrade radiator with a Koyorad along with Maruha Radiator Hoses
Mazdaspeed Rear Shock Tower Brace
Mazdaspeed Airbox
Replacement M-Edition Floor Mats
Coilovers/Watanabe wheels
Thorough cleaning
Here's to a great build!:D
