The OEM Nardi or Momo with the horn pad would be a perfect match (albeit not new) ;)

You guys have a...what? I had no idea gas-powered power washers were a thing.
+1 on the creative use of trash bin; and great looking updates!
Could always 3D print some :P
Looks a gazillion times better!
Wow. Was not aware that thick rings were that rare, very glad I was able to save mine. Also super jealous on the "wavy" panel.
Intermittent issues like this usually point to some sensor/wiring problem, except if it fried a coil pack (I would not see why though). Do you have fuel delivery?
YESSS! That must feel proper nice!
BTW Miataland is also letting go of their M2 1001 (seen in facebook)
MS2 cannot directly drive R8 coils as far as I am aware. Your logic makes sense though, sticking with what you know.
It may be a good time to go to Toyota COPs. Cheap and plentiful, and far more reliable than the stock item. Loom/adapter is quite easy to build as well with basic wiring skills.
W O W is all I can say. Having worked with composites for a couple of years, the quality of what you have there is jaw-dropping. I bet it required a ton of prep work on molds to actually make that....
Nice! Would double-check their work in terms of sealing once the reinforcements are welded on. Ideally would like to coat both surfaces (frame and inner side of plates) with weld-through primer, plus...
Slowly increasing, but still a better value for what you get compared to NA/NBs now, at least here. We got 1.8 ones here as well which are notorious for destroying conrod bearings, so a blown engine...
4.2 is supposedly more durable than the newer 4.9
Essentially yes (or e-mail them the link or files). Tell them that it will be used in a car induction system and it needs to withstand heat; any competent place will know what parameters and...
I believe this was a composite recreation of the original design of Alec Moody, which is pretty popular. You can check with a local 3D printing shop on how much they would charge to print one for...
There was a build thread in here somewhere; indeed one of the finest NB1s around.
Light cars can use small brakes which in turn contribute to lightness. Main reason why added weight puts you in a vicious cycle of adding more weight.
Maybe try https://www.augmentwheels.com/ as well?
Just occurred to me that we have been using Keizer 3-piece wheels in FSAE a decade or so ago, and they are US-made. Might want to contact and ask...
You might have actually cured it. I have experienced instances when this has been cured by hard running an engine in a small motorbike; piston rings need pressure to properly seat.
Reporting back/documenting this. Radially, the template clears the wheel barrel with room to spare. Axially, on my 15x7 ET27 wheels, the "caliper" part touches the spokes. With a 3mm spacer, it...
I respectfully disagree; they are hell of fast cars on straights, but weight shows quite a lot during cornering or braking. That being said, I would love something like that complementary to my NB.
I would add wagon to the criteria you have mentioned (although weight penalty might be a significant drawback for track use). I would be looking at CTS-Vs or ATS-Vs...
All pics on that album look great Bryan! So glad to see you enjoying Tick!
