I ran across a thread similar to this one, while ogling google images. It focuses on 60s/70s Alfa steering wheels, which includes the early years of Momo, so expect most of the wheels to be from that era. These have been some of my favorite wheels for a little while. Here's some condensed info and pictures, unsure of complete accuracy and there is some crossover in info/years of logo use, but it's enough to get a good idea.

1964 Gianpiero Moreetti Monte Carlo, 380mm. This was the first (pre-momo) Momo wheel available to the public market.

This style logo was used 66-67ish (maybe 1 or 2 years more). Years weren't marked on the wheels in this period, so logo design is important in identification.

as seen on the reverse of this Daytona.

The stacked Momo script is a logo used from 1969-1973. As seen on the reverse of this 320mm Momo Elite

1966 Prototipo. Race wheels would come undrilled (just like you can order them now from Sparco, etc.) because everyone had their own hub/mounting method. This 5 hole came out of a Porsche 906. I would also like to note that not every Prototipo has had 3 holes below the hub. ;)

This 1978 ad shows you could get a 30mm dished Prototipo., which is what they used for the Clay Regazzoni signiture wheel.

Not sure of the whole Formula 1 Enterprises story, but they weren't hiding that they were Momo wheels and were branded as such on the back too. 1968-197X?

    1966-67 380mm Momo Indy

    70s? Momo Indy

80's-Current Momo Indy. If someone knows the difference between the Super Indy and Indy, I'd love to know! Grip thickness?

    320mm Momo Prototipo

    1978 Momo Prototipo

    1990 Momo Prototipo

    Momo Monza

    350mm Momo LeMans

    370mm Momo Elite

    Momo Volante Moretti

    1986 Momo Volante Gritti

    Momo Futura

Racemark (doesn't seem to have had a model name)

    Personal Autostrada

Amigoui (unknown model name) - Watanabe Falcon cough cough

My thoughts regarding Indy/Super Indy is that the spokes finish is different. My Super is polished, whereas all Indy's I've seen are brushed. Awaiting delivery of an Indy as well (shipped today), so if any other differences I will report back.

There's another variation of Indy's, model KBA 70099, which I believe came as an OEM accessory with some late 80's Mercedes. The most important difference is that the spokes are black (and IMO looks AWESOME)

They do also come with a crashpad.

BTW all of them come in different types/shades of wood

I thought I had seen numerous Indy's with polished spokes at japanese auction, but my google images search shows only brushed finishes, I think you're right. Well I did find one, but it was very obviously recently polished. Thanks for the info!

I think it depends on the country. MOMO Japan made a lot more special edition wheels because of the huge aftermarket demand and they still do. Both of my super indys are from Japan and have the polished spokes.

Finally got hold of my Indy a few days back. It is a 12/80 model, brushed spokes as all Indys I have seen. The wood hue is exactly the same as my '85 SuperIndy, diameter and dish are exactly the same, however the grip is slightly different. The Indy has a thicker grip, with a more "square" cross section than the Super Indy. Overall, I much prefer the Super Indy, it feels (and looks) much better in person, even if they seem almost identical from the photos.

AMI-GOUI?!?!?!? That's one spelling I've never seen. And after inspecting my own wheel, it's the one that makes the best sense.

I've seen Amigorni, Arrigoni, Arigono, and other such gon's... but I could never see that in the brand. Amigoui works.

Anyone ever seen a catalog listing for one of these wheels? I've looked for one for a couple years now. My thoughts being that a catalog would have the brand actually spelled out.

I remember seeing a box from one of these wheels, different model but same company, and the branding was spelled Arrigoni.
