She's back in my life after a 2 month Hiatus. This is Montego Blue under the Clouds. When Its sunny out later in the week, I will show the brilliance of the color. The Car will go back into the Decaudellas to take care of the paint shrinkage, buffed and polished once more, and to have a sealant sprayed on in January. For now she is mine.

With the stock wheels and the shiny new paint, it looks like it just rolled out of the factory. Excellent job

The next direction that I'm going with the car is replacing worm clamps with t bolts, replacing silicone hoses," I am deteoring from the metal pipes because it retains so much heat", replacing the stock plastic throttle elbow with a Greddy, and possible a stock location intercooler.

Never heard of the stuff in the red bottle. What does it do? Something similar like the fuel additives for 2-stroke engines?

There's an oil mixing pump "omp" that squirts oil into one of the chambers in the Rotary engine to lubricate the walls and seals. If the OMP goes bad you can say bye bye to the engine. This is a preventive cause to help prevent a rebuild. Also, if your running your rotary engine hard in autocross and track, this is highly recommended to ratio it. 1:1 when tracking and .5:1 when autorcrossing/daily driving.

If Phat wants to give me a hard time about asking him questions about where to find stuff, post stuff, update stuff... You are part of the problem.

Just read the entire thread, glasses on Phat.

Damn good build thread. And, Man, are you OCD on getting the fiddly bits. High praise to you! That is one fine resto-ride. Take care of her... As you have!

I have a love/hate relationship with build threads... I hate them because I end up HAVING TO READ THE WHOLE THING...your car looks AMAZING. Always loved a clean RX-7

Another reason why I love the 93 Montego Blue, because of the two tone color combination with its interior.

I went away to Iowa to visit Jeanne's family and I might be going back up in the spring to help on the farm. Plan is to bring the rx7 up there.

no, I won't be doing the tails. But we have in mind thus far, Feed Style Side Skirts, Wheels, PFC Commander and ECU, and Upgraded Twins.
