ONE of my Favorites, Georgia's own Dragon. Start in Dahlonega, GA and head north out of Dahlonega on Route 60. Stay on 60N (it merges with GA 19) as it splits off to the left towards Suches, GA. Follow it (If you can) up to Suches, GA and hang a right on Route 180 (Wolfpen Gap Road). Stay on that till it dead ends in to US Highway 129/19. At that point take a right on to US 129/19 and follow it south back down into Dahlonega. 42 miles of pure pleasure!

NC 215, from 64 to BRP. gorgeous road, just do not run it in the rain with bad tires, unless you like jumping a rain gulley, and planting the car into the mountainside. Ask me how I know.
    not my video:

Georges Gap/Rush Branch. Better to run George's Gap E-W because it's hard to brake into the switchbacks downhill. Google Map 12 Miles

Modified to make it worth your while. Added in NC-88 and Old 421. Now 45 miles of fun. Google Map

Check out Ridley Road off HWY 29 in Palmetto as well. It's a short pass but nice curves.

Come to Florida, we got some of the best straight roads you ever seen for miles.

Highway 17/76 as you pass Helen, GA. Awesome tight turns and some hairpins.

I went down 60S for a while and it was a really good road but saw a house with a KKK flag so I turned around and went back where I came from LOL.

This really makes me want to go to the mountains, in the mean time I will just have to settle for the route of back country roads out here I drive when i just feel like driving. Even in the peidmont of nc there are some decent driving roads if you get off the main roads.

Figured this thread could use a bump. I'm going camping over in Bryson City, NC to go white water rafting which is very close to Highway 28 that leads to the Tail of the Dragon. So, I definitely plan on taking that when I get some free time during the day.
