Can't fit big brakes on a 14 inch wheel though

    Semantics! Big brakes are overrated.

Lol not really, but I still want to see these on a 185 Cup car or something.

I actually got the chance to speak with an Enkei rep for some coverage of SEMA this year. I wasn't able to get very much info aside from what's already been discussed. Retarded offset, 16-18" diameter, and 2-piece I did ask about availability and was told that due to Miura-san's very particular personality he's only let them slip into the hands only a few people that have been lucky enough to receive his good graces. I was ensured that a consumer version will hit sometime early 2015. I wasn't able to get info on the exact cost due to some discrepancy in the manufacturing method with the consumer product and it not being "finalized", yeah? The rep did say that Enkei was utilizing a forged manufacturing technique that would make the wheels stronger and lighter than other 2-piece wheels. Not sure what exactly that means, but light weight and strong do sound good. Sadly, I wasn't able to get much more than those few vague answers.

    ^Thanks for some great info!

A vendor on FT86club claimed that rumors said the smallest size/highest offset would be 17x9,5 +27. Really hope they get some more reasonable size's once (and if?) they hit the street.

I don't want 17" but I can live with 16", I have given up on 15" as nobody wants to make those sizes in 2 piece or 3 piece anymore aside from a few extremely expensive wheels.

I moved to a 16 on my e30. Tire selection and sizing opened my choices immensely.

Haha, I don't mean they look bad! Black wheels look good too but I wouldn't want them for me personally.

    16" wheels are lamesauce.

Cool that these are forged two piece wheels. Sucks that Enkei will most likely HUGELY water down the offset and sizing to consumers once they come out.

There are literally dozens of variations of mesh wheels similar to these in 14 and 15 options. Volk Mesh, SSR Formula Mesh, IMPUL Pro Mesh, Southern Way Mesh, Appliance Mesh. I wouldn't hold my breath for 15s and certainly not for 14s.

Looks like they'll only be available in 17x9 – 17x10.5 at launch.
