RB25 or RB26 in Miata NA?

Hi all I am new to this forum. I am a multi-national (I live in the US, Greece, and Canada). I currently have a 1993 Mazda Eunos Roadster Shell that I was thinking of throwing a Nissan RB25DET NEO or RB26DETT N1 into. Does anybody have any insight in this? Its not a matter of the money. I got both the RB25DET NEO and RB26DETT N1 for free from a friend who work at Nissan R&D in Kaminokawa Japan @ the Tochigi Proving Grounds.

Don't quote me on this, but I think the engine is too tall for the chassis. Unless of course, you're a master fabricator and can find a way to make it fit. Once you figure it out you can send me the other one and I'll do whatever you did to make it fit. Everybody wins.

I'd love to get an Audi TT and do a Dahlback conversion (back in the late 90's Dahlbach, did a 2 engined Golf, 2 2.1 5cyl Audi Turbo's and it pushed 900+ hp) but then again even with his own Fab work he was in the hole, for over $250,000. and thats a big ass hole for a Golf

Then there was the MTM Audi TT BiMoto. It had 2 1.8l Twin Turbo 20V 4cyl. 1 fron and 1 back. each with a minimum of 375 hp and a maximum of 501 hp. quite a lot for a car that has a curb weight of 2400lbs.

Both Phat (forum owner) and I met a guy in from Ocala, FL. who installed am RB25DET in a Miata. I have no idea, what it took to be done, but the car looked and sounded MEAN. The builder also said, that the car was quite a bit nose heavier. I imaging that a front subframe from V8 Roadsters would be needed. Good luck, heck of a project!

There was someone trying to gather interest for an engine swap kit for the RB25 motors a few years ago but I don't know what ever became of it. I know a few were produced.
