    Second MX5, first big project

    Hi guys and girls.
My name is Rohan and I'm from Australia, and when I'm not fighting crocodiles and drinking Fosters I'm playing with my second MX5.

My first was a silver NB8B, which I recently sold to fund the purchase of a Chaste white (Polar white in Australia) NA8. The NB8B was a great car, but after lurking on here for a couple of years I've really gotten into the cool stuff you guys are doing to NA's.

Our NA8's have the NA6 interior and the Euro rear finish panel.

    So far I have:

    Put BC coilovers in.
Put my Mazdaspeed MS01S wheels on with Bridgestone Re003 (don't think that they're called Re003's in America) rubber.
Installed an S2 racing front bumper.
Rebuilt bits and changed miscellaneous smelly oily things.

Here's some pics, because who reads the text anyway?

    Before:

    After:

My plans now are just a bit of exterior tidy up including fixing a ding in the drivers door, and re-trimming the interior to complete red spec.
We never got the red interiors down here so I'm going completely custom.
Follow my eventual build thread if you want to see me struggle and most likely eventually break down and cry.

Welcome! It sounds like we have similar hobbies except here in Florida we call them alligators. The front profile of your NA looks fantastic and I look forward to your build thread. A little welcoming tip from me to you on how to keep your Fosters cool:

Hello Rohan and welcome to MazdaRoadster. Very happy to have you here and thanks for the pictures. Do you have any of you fighting crocodiles?

    Thanks guys
I don't have pics of the Croc fights, but plenty of me drinking beer... funny that.
Just bought an extra dash and put an order in with interior innovations for the burgandy seat covers with diamond stitched centres.
Looks like I better start writing my build thread!
