I know it's a long shot, cause I'm not on par with 90% of photogs here, but I submitted this one

Everyone who submitted a photo SHOULD know if they are or are not in the 2016 calendar. If you didn't, please let me know somehow and I'll send a private note.

81 entries this year. That was a lot. At around week 2.5, there was something like 20. I really appreciate the flood of photos at the end. It enabled us to have a calendar this year.

Most of the entries were NA and NB. There were four NCs and a single ND. The ND made the cover. It seemed like a good choice and it was a lovely ND photo anyway.

And the BRG cars came out in force. I believe there were over 10 dark green Miatas photographed. Two were chosen.

I'm waiting for my print proofs right now. I expect them in the middle of the week. I should have the calendar posted to the public by Friday or Saturday.

    Thank you again everyone!!!

Didn't make the cut but looking at the pics in this thread I absolutely see why.
A big motivator to actually learn a bit of photography!
I'll be buying a calender regardless!

My entry didn't make the cut either but I'll try again next year. Just wanted to add my thanks to Adam for putting this together.

Looks like coupon code SANTASCOMING gets 20% off and expires tomorrow. Just FYI.
I've got a lot less horsepower - luckily they are Japanese horses - usually in better shape and more motivated.

2 of my favorites were Cermivelli's, and Smac's. I'll get one for sure.

Update - the calendar is down.

One of the photos chosen was apparently not shot by the individual who owned the car. The photographer wanted a credit.

The rules stated there was no room for a photographer credit. In fact, the rules state you're supposed to shoot the photo yourself. I did not design the calendar template in a way to provide space for a photographer credit. That was on purpose. The calendar is supposed to be shot by car enthusiasts, not by professional photogs.

The photographer in question threatened to get a lawyer.

I've now got to re-design the calendar and put up a new product page. Since Zazzle won't let you change a design once it's published, I can't just edit it. So... there will be a few hours of no calendar.

Needless to say, this sucks. I don't make much money off the calendar. What I do make is usually spent buying calendars to send as gifts to various Miata shops that have partnered with me and Miata friends. I do this to give something to the community and so that folks have pretty roadsters on their wall every year. I usually end up a few bucks in the hole every year on the calendar because of this.

This will be the last year.

I'll post again with the new calendar link.
