Just a curious side? But you just removed the DOT approval #s.

When I bought my tails for the boom-box S-10 I got a laminated card that proved they were DOT approved just in case the law decided to question them.

Just trying to cover your arse if the friends in blue get down to stickler points.

Everything on the lens, the turn signals still have markings on the inside of the lens. Not too worried about getting harassed over that, i haven't even been pulled over in over 3+ years....thank goodness. Thanks for looking out Rick!

I have not had side markers on my Miata for like 3 or 4 years without issue, so I don't think they will care if you don't have letters on them! Lol

Removed the charcoal canister, installed the mk1 boot release cable and lock from inside the cabin, and sorted some wiring problems I had. Car is starting to be enjoyable again, even though it's not road legal yet.

Pulled the non-functional alarm from the 92 B&T

The installer used speaker wire for the door lock actuators.

I finally cut the holes for my sidemarkers and stuck them in. I haven't wired them yet since I'm hoping there is a not too complicated way to get them to blink with the blinkers AND stay on as running lights

@Nayaa: You won't be able to use the 194 bulb but will need a dual filament bulb, unsure of which one is near the physical size of a 194 though. I took a look and found a 1157 mini is probably the smallest at 1" tall, here is a link with a list of bulbs, voltage, size, number of contacts, etc:
    http://www.taillightking.com/light_bulbs.htm

I guess if there is room, maybe 2 194 bulbs.

With our warm winter, the weekend was in the upper 50's, I was able to mount my new wheels on my new BRG. Excuse the stock ride height, I will be fitting her with a set of Spec Miata Bilstien coil overs in a couple months.

Ordered a new gauge cluster hood from moss, since every clip either was broken, or broke when I removed mine in December.

Flush complete. I was apprehensive about it, but it was pretty easy and painless. 3qts ATF, 1qt 20w50, new filter. Drain oil, remove filter, add the ingredients above. Let the car idle 1-2 hours. Drain for ~20 minutes, change filter, add fresh motor oil.

My rebuilt engine drained the ATF pretty clean, I was doing this to clean the HLAs that sat for a long time.
