    Thank you!

    So....
Picked up the bolts and fastenings from electro players...
I'll let the pics do the talking...

    Mass of bolts being sorted....

    Close up of bumper bolts...
I think the time at the bench grinder paid off...

An assortment of brackets, spare wheel washer, engine lifting eyes, power steering brackets...

And a little bit of assembly, splash guards to knuckles..

I love freshly refinished hardware. Your detail reminds me of some of those on Japanese Nostalgic Cars' website. I cheat. I just horde bolts from cars at the junkyard.

What did you pay for the plating? Is it charged by weight?

So got some time on the engine this weekend… Time to start butting stuff back together…. Finally…
Oil pump ready to go back on with new gasket and o-ring

Oil pump in place with new moon gaskets and old sealant removed from sump face

Sealant in place on the nice refreshed sump…. Need a steady hand for this job

Next step was genuine water pump and gasket ready to go on, OLD Vs new… Freshly coated bolts picked out…

Cam belt tensioner and pulleys again old Vs new…

Everything in place and torqued up

AC Bracket bolted up, after being sprayed….

    New water inlet bolted up….

Next items to get the paint treatement… Stay tuned…

Very nice build, the zinc plating was a great idea. It really brings things back to an OEM look.

Been a while for an update,
So first up the alternator having some attention, all stripped down...

    And painted

Sprayed the engine mounts and power steering brackets

Bought a spit to start the body work...

Second batch of bolts plated, including the alignment bolts that I left behind for the first batch... Prepped ready on the wire wheel

    Brackets and bolts back....

Plus had the heat shields done in silver..
Not bad for a 25 year old pair of shields

Engine with more components bolted to it.. Really happy with the results, hope to get the head on this weekend

    Thanks for looking....
