Tyrant fabrication after all the 'hype'....

....wish it had turned out differently but the 'signs' were all there to cast enough doubt to make buying one of the first a risk to say te least.

Just came back to this thread, forgot I started it.

This whoooooole thing turned into the shittiest clusterfk I've seen since autokonnexion. The dude had a chance to make it nicer and refine it, but no, he chased the fng money and now look at him. Also he had a worst-case-scenario business partner that cashed out and disappeared.

    Textbook failure

From what I have read on the interwebs anyone that ordered AFTER that last big GB for the Adore bumpers years back has had their stuff take 6 to 8 months to get made if at all. Pretty much has disappeared from the forums, maybe some of the Cali guys know more? That might be a whole other thread in itself, who knows.

I don't know if anyone has gotten anything from them in the last year or two. People have been waiting on hardtops that long. The only real way to contact Mike as of like 5 years ago was to go to his shop in person, they have always ignored the phones and usually emails as well. A while back when someone would express their discontent with how AK was responding, supposedly Mike's wife would jump on the forums or emails in a rage and basically tell everyone to go fuck themselves, then Mike would come in and do damage control. Excuses are constantly fabricated. Anyway, they've taken a lot of money and no products are being pushed out. I don't know why the website is still up and accepting orders, from what I've been told he really only does SEMA builds now.

Oh wow! I don't know how I missed that! Now that you mention it, I haven't seen Mike post anything on Facebook in a long time! Odd! He used to comment on the pictures of my car all the time and I haven't seen him. Wonder what happened! That's terrible!

Seems after a couple SEMA body kits he just quit making anything for the Miata market. What did get shipped out was reported very poor quality and packaging was pretty sketchy.
