I've done some fiberglass work for prototyping, the results of that top are not something I would attach my name to. A hardtop is a tall order, but that one needs more cooking time. A lot more.

I think it's pretty mind numbing that people would actually defend something like that. It doesn't matter if something is for a street car or a track car, a finished product should stand to some measure of good build quality. And don't get me wrong, I wouldn't expect something like this to be completely plug-n-play, a little massaging is to be expected. But, if from an initial glance something looks like it just ain't finished? Or damaged? That ain't quality work.

From what I've read about this, just today, it just seems sketchy as all hell from start to finish.

How can someone feel okay about themselves after delivering that product to somebody?

Remember that guy in the Northeast selling the CF hardtops several years ago for $1000 each, (Chaser Aero) all of those arrived cracked and or damaged, kinda reminds me of that whole situation.

Pretty poor, the sad thing is that it's so easy to get a decent finish. Saying that it's for track use so doesn't need to have a good finish is just deflecting from the poor workmanship

    Just found this.

    http://richmond.craigslist.org/pts/5610042626.html

    00N0N_1SnnpKvaOUX_600x450.jpg

"Come and get it. Comes with two nutserts that are messed up, they can be replaced though, apparently easily. The manufacturer has also offered to help fix and give new hardware to the next owner. Window seals are not the best they leak and could use some work. Gel coat has orange peel and the fitment is not perfect. I'm sure that someone can make it work. I payed $1,000 shipped so if you want it today and are willing to pay $800 OBO it's yours. Just trying to get some of my money back.

THIS TOP IS ONLY 21lbs and is MEANT FOR TRACK USE ONLY. It is very very light "

Has anyone else had experience with this? I asked for a refund after continued delays and he said he already shipped it and couldn't do that. He promised me a perfect top but and we discussed all the details. The top that arrived was far from it. That was over a month ago and he has stopped responding, the website is down, and paypal dispute has been filed...

Oh boy. I would start researching your options. First might be refusing the shipment when it arrives, if possible. I would also speak with whomever is handling the transaction; paypal, credit card, etc. I hope it works to your favor, please keep us informed!

...dude...they filed for bankruptcy and skipped out with tens of thousands of dollars from people. You're stuck with your top. Or you can try selling it like that guy on craigslist did ^ when Tyrant rejected all his claims and evidence, and tried to take him down on the internet.
