    New SSR Star Sharks

Looks like the new limited release Star Sharks have arrived, if you haven't heard. Was on display at Tokyo Auto Salon earlier this year. One piece cast aluminum, basically XXR. First company I've seen knockoff it's own product.

Enkei did the same with the Apache.

They look good, but a personal preference of mine is i wish that since it's a 1 piece wheel, they should've got rid of the bolts. I'm not a fan of fake bolts/rivets.

Wait wait wait. That means you can purchase brand new Star Sharks, from SSR? Ok, I get it, it's not the original, but dear god, am I tempted.

The Apaches actually look great though!

There's no way these are coming from SSR, probably from whoever holds the rights to Colin. But I don't know exactly where/where to purchase. This was my initial source.

Those really look good. It sucks that they are not the real deal but I sure can't tell from the pictures.

Well, if quality is not crap and price is right, I cannot see why not. Do we know ANYONE that might have more info on those (who makes them, bolt pattern, width/offset, weight, price)?

And this page confirms to me that they are made by XXR.

It just lists the brand, product name and product model. So, the last two are the same and the brand wouldn't be listed as XXR because Colin is the brand, XXR is the manufacturer (which there isn't a slot for). Colin has never had in house wheel manufacturing, it's always been outsourced.
