But I'll probably still buy one. Group buy anyone??

Edit: I wonder if it's right hand specific.
You are correct, not rare just expensive. Currently trending at $1200-$1400 US on CL

This vent has nothing special to be honest! I am pretty sure I could look through our molds from other cars and find a similar vent that would fit!

I will try to get you some pictures.

I'd be interested in doing one with my old hard top, as it needs a lot of TLC anyways. I would prefer some type of sealable insert or trap door in case of torrential downpour/car wash.

I kind of want one too, but I also want a square window top like mazdaspeed, but if I find a mazdaspeed hardtop without a vent this could be added, or added to my stock hardtop if not.

I paid $550 for my last hardtop, a mint NB hardtop , and I sold my old one for $1400. Thankfully some deals to be made here.

I have the MS top with vent. Blocked it up to stop the spiders getting in. If you shoot the hose into it water pours in but it doesn't let any water in under normal use

This is what the (filled) hole in the roof looks like from the underside. Wire is for a chmsl which I didn't like and removed. The roof vent itself is two piece, the lower part has a squared C shaped hole in it centered toward the front of the roof hole (top in pic)
