    Karuizawa Meeting Japan Tour

Karuizawa Meeting is the biggest annual Mazda Roadster meet up in Japan each year, between 1,000 to 1,300 each year and lots of the Roadster specific tuners and vendors come out to show their new products.

Besides all the hundreds of Miata MX5 Roadsters for example, there are tuners like:

    Garage Vary
    TRAP
    AutoExe
    GReddy
    RS-Factory Stage
    Garage Hundred-One
    Zoom Engineering
    KG Works
    NoPro
    Esqueleto AIRE
    Joyfast
    Nielex
    Nakamae
    Hirai-Style
    RS-Products
    Maruha Motors
    Runabout
    Tuckin99
    RS-Aizawa
    Garage OHNO
    Do Engineering
    Brightning
    Jet's
    Bomex
    S2Racing

    just to name a few.

This really is the Grand Daddy of all Roadster events, the largest in the World folks.

So the question is if we can make a tour group for say 6 or 7 days in May who would want to attend?

We could meet at LAX and Fly to Japan, see yor favorite tuners and Roadster facebook buddies

once in a lifetime event for sure

Guessing here on the price but most likely it could cost between $1999 to $3500 , thats depending on options for say 7 days with Airfair, Hotel, and Transportation to the show and back and other site seeing, maybe visit Mazda History Museum, AutoBacs Super Store, a couple local tuner shops in the area some racetracks, or drift events, etc. Would need at least 20 people for trip to happen, or if we can get 40 people then the price would come down for all of us.

Would you guys want to plan for 2017, or plan for 2 years? like in 2018

    Member and Tuners welcome!

That would be incredible.. looks like it runs 5/28-30, is that right? Also probably unlikely I can get out of work commitments for a week (May is a brutal month) but if you guys are coming through LAX we should atleast try and find a way to meet/ eat/ drink whatever if there's a layover!

HAHA! May is always bad but more navigable with that much warning. But now I know I'm getting really old, almost seemed like the original post got edited or somethin' ;)

I could probably manage to make plans if it were a 2018 trip. I've always wanted to visit Japan, and this would be a great excuse!

If renovating my old farmhouse doesn't kill me it'll be no biggy to turn up; it's a few hour drive for me.

If by "party" you mean "work party," then yes, by all means! I have plenty of bamboo for you to cut, er, I mean, beer to drink!

Want to go! Not so much want to cut bamboo.

Though if I could get one of my katanas on the plane, I guess I could mow some down for you... hahaha
