Retro bucket seat hand made by legendary Nakamae for the NA (1989-1997) and NB (1998-2005) Miata. The Type-R Seat is the original and most popular bucket seat made by Nakamae. It has aluminum grommets to provide better ventilation to the back and give this nice 1960?s sports car look. It is a Roadster-specific seat that will install onto OEM seat rails, so no additional modification to the vehicle is required. you will likely need to be under a 40" waist to fit into these, but they sit you nice and low and bolt right onto the OEM Miata Sliders for a factory fit.

Wait, these fit American asses under 40"?!

I always was under the impression you had to be a string bean under 30-32" to fit in these types of seats...

Nice to know for when I do manage to get another roadster
