The new edition of the SCCA Pro Racing Battery Tender Mazda MX-5 Cup will open the season at its namesake home of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. This will be the first time the series opens the season at this historic and storied Northern California roadcourse.

What: Inaugural race of the 2016 Battery Tender Global Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by BFGoodrich Tires

When: Noon Pacific, on Friday, April 29^th (TODAY) AND Saturday, Aril 30th

Where: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca

Why: To showcase the handling, performance, quality, durability, and reliability of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 and series partners
