    Stolen Flyin' Miata tools

1 FM "ninja tool" (aka bottle opener) and 2 crank seal installers (one small and one large, cylinder shaped tools) were stolen out of my garage recently. I just moved to the area and have been in and out of the garage many, many times. I left the door open thinking I'd "be right back" in there... anyone sees these for sale let me know please!

I forgot to close the door at night, I did before bed but by then I hadn't moved any items into the house in a while. My fault but the word is out at least.

It's not your fault. In a civil society that shouldn't happen. Unfortunately SOME of us don't play by the rules. I'm not going to say "people suck" or something similar because most people don't suck.

So they stole ONLY the Miata-specific tools and left the rest in there?

Was wondering the same. Seems really weird.

Suggestion, try looking for a Facebook page for your neighborhood, put the word out there. I had surprising success with similar issues that way.

Yes, you guys read that right. Flyin' Miata tools were taken from the top of my box but the rest of the tools, still in a moving bin, were untouched! Also, turns out that my GarageStar differential bushings are also missing but they did leave my MazdaSpeed motor mounts, both were sitting loose on top of the box as well.

They snatched my iPod out of the car too but oh well. Thanks for the Facebook tip KFJ but I no longer use it. You're right Martin, most people don't suck but a local from ClubRoadster basically told me - tough shit, Vegas is riddled with crime even in the "nicer" neighborhoods, so I guess there's a lot who don't play by the rules around here.

That's the roll of the dice in Vegas, pun intended
